A tall, fast-growing tree which grows on a wide range of soils. Tolerates dry clay, coastal sites & exposure. Good strong and durable timber and long-burning firewood. Profuse creamy-white flowers from December-March are good for birds and bees. Evergreen. Moderate frost tolerance.
