A dense, fast-growing upright shrub with glossy, dark-green leaves. Highly-scented white flowers in autumn followed by orange-red edible fruit. Forms an ideal hedge which trims well or low shelter under trees. Fixes nitrogen. Wind, cold & salt tolerant. Evergreen. Very hardy.
