Apple ‘Telstar’
Fruiting Apple (High Health)
Very rich and deep flavour, similar to ‘Cox’s’, but with less acid and much more sweetness. The fruit has crisp flesh, and is of small to medium-size with flattened shape. Raised in NZ in 1934. Hybrid between ‘Golden Delicious’ and ‘Kidds Orange’. Ripens mid March. Rootstock: MM106.
