Apple ‘Mere De Menage’
A heritage cooking/eating apple from 18th century Western Europe. Distinctive deep maroon fruit with copper russeted patches. Large, flattened-round shape. Crisp and juicy with a mildly sweet, sub-acid fruity taste. Very productive tree. Fruit can store for a month or so. Ripens March.
Rootstock: M793. M793 is a larger growing rootstock with vigorous growth characteristics. Better suited to heavier soils.
