A bit of greenery for Fendalton School

Following the installation of a new building at Fendalton Open Air School, the 30 plants installed by the building contractor just didn’t cut the mustard.

Stepping in to help out, a Landscape Architect parent chipped in with a new design and then reached out to Southern Woods who were more than happy to supply a few hundred awesome native plants to help add that missing botanic magic needed to give the new building the wow factor.

From groundcovers to large-grade canopy trees, Nikau palms, and Punga to give that added lushness, the team was thrilled with the quality of the plants and Southern Woods and partners going the extra mile, so plants were on site ahead of the weekend planting volunteers getting stuck into the install.
