Plum ‘Black Amber’
Fruiting Plum
Flat, round, medium-large fruit with purple/black skin. Flesh is pale-cream with a red stain from the skin, increasing as the fruit ripens. Firm, juicy good flavour. Self fertile in Canterbury, although ‘Santa Rosa’ will improve fruit set. Clingstone and stores well. Ripens February/March. (Rootstock=Myrobalan)
